- The physical construction of the 20,600sf building (foundations, slabs, steel superstructure, walls, windows, as well as the floor, wall, and ceiling finishes);
- The infrastructure systems that support the building: plumbing, fire protection, mechanical and electrical systems;
- The furniture, fittings and equipment to create a 21st century Library space ( a variety of shapes, sizes, and types of stacks, tables, chairs, etc; technology infrastructure as well as data wiring and support, computers and electronic / multi-media resources, building security system; staff work stations and equipment, as well as all other every day components that the Library staff and patrons utilize each day.
In addition to all of these physical components, the bond also includes all of the project soft costs which include design fees, legal fees, bonding fees, testing, inspections, insurances, construction management fees, collection relocation costs, etc.
