Trolley’s Then and Now:  Newburgh, Walden, Middletown, and Goshen

Saturday, February 6th at 10:00am

at the Main Street School – 229 Main St. Goshen

The trolley systems of Orange County were a brief, yet important means of transportation bridging the gap between the horse and machines powered by internal combustion engines. In this ‘Then & Now’ presentation we will be ‘riding’ the trolley between Newburgh and Walden; then Middletown to Goshen using photos taken between 1886-1925 and also photos of the present. We will also stop at two amusement parks and also hear a brief history of trolleys.  Ray Kelly of the O&W Railway Historical Society will be making this presentation on Saturday February 6, at 10:00 am, at the Main Street School, 229 Main Street in Goshen.  Please join us for this fascinating look back into our local transportation history.  Light refreshments will be served.
