MADE IN GOSHEN
Mark your calendars for Saturday May 14 for a quinquennial edition of the ever popular ‘Made in Goshen’ event, sponsored by the Friends of the Goshen Public Library and Historical Society. Last held in 2010, this gathering represents your opportunity to scour your basements and attics, looking for memorabilia that can legitimately be claimed to have been made right here in Goshen. In addition to decorative glass, medicine bottles, furniture and pictures, we believe that there are still many objects hiding in obscurity that would be so appreciated by the community residents who will attend this event. We would like to “borrow” these objects only for the day, and we will be providing a host of volunteers who will keep a careful watch on the items on display to assure that all remain safe.
St. James Community Room. 1 St. James Place. Goshen, NY 10924. 2:00-5:00pm
Jim Tarvin is coordinating this event, so please contact Jim at firstname.lastname@example.org to let him know about items that you are willing to share with us for one day.
